Who certifies green homes in Vermont?

There are three residential green building rating systems in Vermont. In addition, the Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) has established Green Building and Design Standards for projects they finance.

The Vermont sponsors of these green building programs are working together in an effort to establish jointly recognized minimum standards for green buildings in Vermont,  and to ensure that home builders and home buyers can identify and participate in the green building certification program most appropriate to their circumstances and needs.
